A: The fees are included in your school fees. So, in a way, yes. You do not have to pay per use. However, you may not opt out of the internet fee portion of the tuition even if you decide not to use the internet on base. The bandwidth is limited on base, so while you are free to download whatever you wish as long as it is not illegal or wrong, please do not schedule something like a 250 GB data recovery from your online backup all at once. Also, some websites and services are blocked for a reason, so please do not try to get around it.
A: Not really sure what you are asking... but we have Student Center which contains library/prayer room, laundromat, small gym, weight room, coffee bar, and a small hangout area that has stuff like pool table and ping pong table. You can also roll down the hill or throw rocks in the creek. You can also have a nice conversation with anyone on the base. You can also go up and down the base and see the same scenery over and over again. Up to you.

A: You can either fill out an staff opportunities form, email personnel@wammontana.org, or visit the Personnel office during office hours and get a copy
A: The best way to find out the areas of need are to talk to Personnel!
A: You must get (and fill out) an application (with references, and application fee). Following your acceptance, each staff person is responsible for raising his/her own support ($700 per single or $1,00 per couple minimum - but every department has its own minimum)
A: We REQUIRE that all staff come with $700 (singles), & $1,000 (couple, adding $150 per child) monthly. It is required that you have this money pledged to you BEFORE you arrive for intake. *NOTE: this is not just staff fees, although your fees come out of this amount
A: If housing is available then housing/personnel will coordinate housing for you. Singles are housed in the Livingstone Dorm, marrieds are housed in the bayshore and families (with at least 1 child) are eligible for a house.
A: Please contact our Personnel Department for more information regarding this issue.
A: Depends on how full housing is when you apply. Roommates had swapped in past, but that will need to be cleared through housing first.
A: 15 work days (3 weeks) per year plus regular holidays and Spring Break
A: No
Q: When can I come on staff?
A: We have 5 intakes per year (January, March, June, August, September), where new staff can come for their week of orientation. Families can arrive a week or 2 before their intake week to get settled.
A: January, April, June, August & September - Staff intake is when we devote an entire week to helping our new staff acclimate to the base. Some thing we cover are: support raising, target nations, staff development, YWAM Mt. history among others.
A: Absolutely
A: It really depends a lot on the applicant (and their references). Once we get everything in (3 references, complete application, any department questions, application fee) we bring it to the department leader and have them look it over - if they are okay with it, we again bring in a director, personnel and other leaders to pray over it. At this point, if accepted, personnel will get back with you. All this usually takes anywhere from 1-3 weeks, depending on whether or not the needed leaders are on base at the time.
A: The best way would be to send an email (personnel@ywammontna.org) to set up an appointment (if necessary).
A: You can email our visa dept. at visas@ywammontana.org and they can help you with your visa questions.
A: We do ask that to be full time staff, you commit to minimum of 2 years to the base. During that 2 years, there will be times where you will be asked to serve outside of your primary area.
A: That depends on the leader of whatever school you are hoping to staff. We call people such as this as "Project staff", as they are here short term and for a specific school. They cannot process support through our accounting office.
A: Yes
A: Mission builders do not pay for rent, food, internet, utilities, and membership fees. They do still have to pay for transportation (airfare or gas price), laundry, and extra food.
A: As a mission builder, you can serve up to 3 months at a time per calendar year (January 1 to December 31). It is encouraged that you stay for at least one month.
Q: I have a question that is not listed here. What should I do?

A: Lecture Phase: Tuition, food, housing, course materials (not covered: laundry, your travel to and from Montana, snacks and coffee addictions!) Outreach: Flights, ground fees, food, housing, insurance (not covered: passports, visas, immunizations, extra snacking needs, gifts for your family or significant others)
A: Yes, some schools will also require the completion of a previous course taken after DTS. For example, the completion of SBS is required before Titus Project, the New Testament Greek course and the Direct Reading course.
A: University of the nations is not accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the united states secretary of education. - University of the Nations (U of N) is a degree granting institution (Associate, Bachelor and Masters). YWAM schools get U of N credits which can be applied to any U of N degree program or transferred to accredited colleges and universities around the country as most of our schools are academically sound and up to the standard of other universities (i.e. Crown college and Northwestern in Minnesota will accept U of N credits as well as Regent College in Canada.)
A: Yes, but only to students from non-Western countries with a special emphasis on our Target Nations (India, Nepal, Thailand, Ukraine and Taiwan). Any non-Western international student may apply for a scholarship if their school offers it. but keep in mind that we have limited funds available and many requests. If the same course is offered in your home country you will usually not receive a scholarship. The scholarship application deadline is 4-6 months before the start of your school. Applying for a scholarship does NOT guarantee you will receive one. There is no other financial aid available.
A: Yes, we can write a proof of enrollment letter for you once the school has began. It is up to the insurance company if they will accept if or not as we are not an officially accredited college.
A: We do not offer or require insurance for a lecture phase. For outreach it is mandatory for students and some schools have included it in their fees (e.g. DTS, SOW) but if it is not included you should set money aside for this. We go through Talent Trust - we can add to their plan when you are here and the cost will be added to your student bill or you can get insurance through the provider of your choice. (talent trust charges an average of $10 per week that you are on outreach).
